$2,000 College Scholarship Program

The candidate must be a member in good standing of AFGM Enterprises Federal Credit Union and a High School Senior.  Scholarship funds must be used for tuition at an accredited two or four year educational institution within one year of presentment.

• ELIGIBILITY

The candidate must be a member in good standing of AFGM Enterprises Federal Credit Union and a High School Senior.  Scholarship funds must be used for tuition at an accredited two or four year educational institution within one year of presentment.

• APPLICATION PROCESS

Eligible members must complete this scholarship application.  (NO PHOTOCOPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED).  Only one application per student may be submitted.

• The application must be submitted along with:

_____  Official high school transcript 

_____  SAT/PSAT/ACT transcript (obtained from your guidance office)

_____  Recommendation and signature of applicant’s teacher

• The applicant and his/her parent or guardian must sign the Certification and Release Authorization at the bottom of the Essay Section.

The entire packet must be returned by the deadline date of May 20, 2022.  Because of the considerable time required for judging, there can be no exceptions to this date.  If the application packet is not complete, it will be disqualified.

• SELECTION PROCESS

Judging will be based on both subjective criteria and weighted, objective criteria.  These include academic performance, essay, community activities, and personal goals.

• DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION

The application must be returned to AFGM Enterprises Federal Credit Union by 4:00pm on Friday, May 20, 2022.
